Madonna Inn Gigs
(1980/1981)

 

We played at the Madonna Inn for a couple of gigs. I always liked playing there. Its a weird place. I remember that we dressed in New Wave-Cowboy for the Aug/1980 gig. I think that this was the first time that we played Amy. I remember noticing at this gig that Chuck was mumbling nonsense during Blue Bayou.

Leslie: Yes, it was a wedding. I liked playing there; you could touch the ceiling.

Chuck: I used to love to sing backup to Blue Bayou w/ Les, because I never could remember the words and always made up something different, which drove Les Nuts, but made her laugh.
We also played there in the spring time. I think that it was for a sorority party. I remember that it was in the upstairs room above the checkin office for the hotel.
