Happy Holidays 2008

Warm wishes to everyone!  Here’s our yearly update.

We’re grateful that our family has had a good year.   We’ve had some great times with our friends on camping trips in Big Sur, going to the snow, and at our Annual Apple Cider Pressing Party.

Jasmine started first grade with a tremendously supportive teacher to help her transition to a full-day school schedule.  Jasmine is interested in taking photographs and continues to flourish artistically.

For Halloween she designed her own Leprechaun costume… inspired by a Leprechaun who left surprises in our garden last spring.  Jasmine has built beautiful fairy houses in the garden for our visiting Garden Fairies. She also added 3 fish to our family, “Lola” and “The Twins”.

Violet (Teeny) turned two this Thanksgiving. Teeny started preschool at a local parent-run co-op.   She spends most of her time following “Yamin around and reading books.  One of her favorite past-times is eating. “Me YES want pancakes!”  When she’s having a temper tantrum, she summons the evil powers that only a two-year old can and starts yelling:  “Me throwing you AWAY, Me TOSSING you out, Me KNOCKING  you over, Me SPILLING you out!”

Pat’s job at Liquid has continued to go well. His company recently launched a new music download site to compete with iTunes (mp3.walmart.com).  Our whole family appreciates that his job continues to be relatively stable.

Chris volunteers at both kids’ schools during the week.  She enjoys planning trips for our family and friends, including trips back East twice a year so that the kids can spend time with Grammie & Grampa.

We hope that the coming year will be great for you as well.   Love, Pat, Chris, Jasmine, & Violet
