Happy Holidays 2007

Happy Holidays 2007 Warm wishes to everyone!

Here's our annual update.

Our second daughter Violet turned one year old this past Thanksgiving. Jasmine nicknamed her "Teeny" when she was born, and despite the fact that she's quite a Big Chub, the name has stuck. Teeny spends her time wandering around muttering slightly discernable proclamations: "This! That! Look at the lights! " For her, everything is new every day.

Jasmine is now in kindergarten at the school near our house. She continues to be interested in art, books, animals, and anything resembling sugar. She has been a loving, compassionate and nurturing big sister. We feel so lucky to have two such very different children who balance our family.

Pat's job has been keeping him very busy at Liquid Digital Media where he is the VP of Technology. Liquid sells music that plays on iPods and computers.

We also had some sad news, Pat's father passed away this year; he was nearly 80. We were grateful that he had a chance to meet Violet. The picture below was one of his favorites from when he attended The Burning Man Festival in 1999. It reflects his sometimes unconventional sense of humor.

Chris is loving being a Mom for a second time. CC's continuing interests are rescuing lost pets (sometimes chasing them down on the highway - much to Pat's great alarm). Lately, she has become known as the "Tree Lady" of Carmelita. She has been working with city officials to save heritage trees in Mountain View from being cut down.

Love, Pat, Chris, Jasmine, & Violet
